The founder of Sherriff family, Dr. Mohammad Sherriff. He was born in Ferozepur, East Punjab, India on 5th May 1905 (1905 –
1972) and gained his early medical education in Iran and did his LMS. He also studied homoeopathy from Beirut and came back
to India with his father and started practicing homeopathy on 1926. After partition, he satteled in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Hundreds of thousand of eyes waited and wept when he left this world after a car accident. He was coming back from his Isha
prayers on the June 23 1972. He served for more than 46 years, initially 21 years in India and then 25 years in Rawalpindi,
Pakistan. He consulted more than 2.5 million patients in his entire practice. May his soul rest in peace. Ameen.
What is homeopathy?
Homeopathy (also spelled homoeopathy) is a branch of alternative medicine, first proposed by German physician Samuel
Friedrich Hahnemann (1755-1843) in 1794, which is based on the principle of "The Law of Similars" in which highly diluted
preparations which cause certain symptoms in healthy individuals are given in diluted form to patients exhibiting similar
symptoms.
